The Company

Founded in 1998, Skytronic Ltd rapidly grew to become a driving force in the British consumer electronics market place. We are situated in Manchester at the main North West Containerbase, the ideal location for both receiving and dispatching our products.

In 1999 Skytronic Ltd became one of the first companies in the UK to be approved by Customs and Excise for CFSP (Customs Freight Simplified Procedures) which meant that Skytronic stock is not subject to the usual customs clearance delays. Skytronic are authorised by Customs and Excise to remove the goods immediately upon arrival into the country under CFSP authorisation and then, directly to our bonded warehouse. This is a major factor in keeping our stock availability high and our prices competitive.

The location of our bonded warehouse gave Skytronic Ltd the flexibility to develop, so in 2005 we increased our warehouse space to 60,000 sq ft, and refitted it with high bay racking to give us over 6000 pallet locations. This expansion allowed the company to increase the efficiency of its services and product offering.

In 2009 Skytronic Ltd announced the change of its company name. With the rapid development and growing product ranges over the last 10 years, it was decided that this was the right time to rebrand the company as the "AVSL Group Ltd". This move will position the company more effectively on a global scale, giving us the opportunity to provide an even greater service to our existing and future customers. The rebrand is simply a continuation of our ongoing strategy to further develop and grow our business within the Audio Visual, Sound & Light, Public Address and MI trades.

Our Brands

From humble beginnings the company has grown both organically and by acquisition and now owns a portfolio of both established and new brands, namely: Adastra, Citronic, Mercury, QTX Light, QTX Sound and AV:Link.

	Adastra - A long established brand in the public address industry, synonymous with quality and reliability, Adastra has been completely revitalised to offer the latest in 100V line, public address and background music systems.
	Citronic - A brand with history, Citronic is still going strong after 40 years. A complete re-brand has seen many new innovative products added ensuring that Citronic is still the pro DJ's 1st choice.
	Mercury - Established in the early 1970s Mercury became a recognised force in the UK TV aerial and accessories market. Mercury's ever-expanding product list covers a wide variety of solutions for home and office environments.
	QTX Light & QTX Sound - These brands are evolving everyday. Their expanding comprehensive product portfolio covers everything the sound and light market demands, from fantastic cutting-edge light effects to state-of-the-art sound equipment for the DJ market, karaoke applications and home use.
	AV:link - Specifically designed to offer you the highest quality AV equipment, from multimedia install products to home audio. Providing lifestyle products to both the professional and domestic markets.

We also supply various ranges of products from other suppliers such as McGregor (Amplification), GE (lamps), Osram (lamps), Neutrik (connectors), Servisol (service aids) and GP (batteries); products that support and complete our ranges.

The team

The AVSL Group Ltd has a team of enthusiastic and dedicated professionals with a variety of experience in all sectors of the business. Each member of the team is dedicated to maintaining and surpassing the high level of service that our customers have come to expect.

Our friendly sales team are on hand from 7am to 6pm Monday to Friday to take your calls and make sure you get what you need quickly and easily. Our accounts department are also available to answer any questions regarding your account with the AVSL Group Ltd.

We also have a dedicated technical support line which is manned by our team of engineering and compliance staff. Not only do they monitor and control the quality of both existing and new products, they are also available to answer any technical queries from our customers, so any problems are solved quickly and easily.

Our marketing department offers support to all AVSL Group departments and customers through a variety of literature and promotions, all of which are produced in-house by skilled professionals.

The Service

From the first day of trading, the option of having next day delivery has been available due to our high stock levels and dedicated warehouse team who ensure that all orders are ready for dispatch the same day they are received.
